Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport tops the global list as the busiest airport for 2024, with over 62 million travelers. It maintained its spot from 2023, with a 2% increase in capacity. Dubai International Airport followed in second place, with 60.2 million seats filled, while Tokyo’s Haneda Airport came in third with 55.2 million.
In the U.S., Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) ranked fifth, Denver International (DEN) secured sixth, and Chicago O’Hare (ORD) rounded out the top 10. The year saw significant growth across global airports as travel continues to recover post-pandemic, with U.S. airports, in particular, hitting record passenger volumes during major travel holidays.
