For the upcoming camping season, guests can stay in one of two covered wagons, designed to look like they came straight out of a Western movie. These wagons feature canvas covers, wooden wheels, and Western-style decor, including cowhide rugs and rustic chairs. Outside, each site has a fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and a picnic table. The cost starts at $206 per night.
Unlike the old pioneer days, these wagons come with modern comforts like heating, air conditioning, electricity, soft bedding, and towels. If you forget anything, the Sandy Pines General Store has all the essentials.
For outdoor fun, Sandy Pines offers 60 acres of land to explore, plus some of the best paddle boarding waters in Maine. If you want to visit the beach, Goose Rocks Beach is just two miles away, known for its soft white sand.
