Chef Radhika Khandelwal has opened her new restaurant, Trouble Trouble, in the same spot where her popular Fig & Maple once stood in GK-II, Delhi. After running Fig & Maple for nine years, she wanted a fresh start—something fun, relaxed, and focused on good food without long stories behind every dish.

A New Look

The space has been completely redesigned.

  • The old bright, simple interiors are gone.

  • Now, the restaurant has velvet couches, wood-panelled walls, mirrors, tiled floors, and playful artwork of dogs dressed in fancy outfits.

  • The theme continues into the bathrooms, which have dog-patterned wallpaper.

  • Pets are welcome on the rooftop, which still looks similar to the classic Fig & Maple terrace with plants and views of M Block Market.

The Food

Almost everything on the menu is new, except the famous Fig & Maple salad and the chef’s love for egg dishes.

Some highlights include:

  • Egg dumplings filled with parmesan and truffle

  • Prawn toast served with Thai red curry

  • Salmon crudo with kaffir lime

  • Beignets stuffed with Goan chorizo or mushrooms

  • Skewers, ceviche, carpaccio, and many global small plates

A Brazilian grill is the star of the kitchen, serving:

  • Pork chops with chimichurri

  • Garlic chicken

  • Tenderloin with nam jim jaew

  • Veg options like eggplant with miso butter, charred tofu, and mushrooms

The menu is big—salads, pizzas, tacos, sharing plates, and mains. If you try a main dish, the pork shoulder rendang and Brazilian seafood moqueca are highly recommended.

Address: 2nd Floor, M-27, M Block Market, GK-II, New Delhi
Price: ₹4,000 for two
Hours: 12 pm–1 am (Closed Mondays)

The Drinks

The bar, led by Kunal Chandra, keeps things fun and simple. The drink names are based on things customers say, making choosing easier.

Some examples:

  • Something Spicy – Tequila with jalapeño and coriander

  • I Love Citrus – Vodka with limoncello and citrus

  • No Ice Please – Whiskey with lemon-honey-ginger

There are also many non-alcoholic options, perfect for people doing a no-drinks month.

More creative drinks include:

  • Lao Gan Margarita, served in a Lao Gan Ma jar, with a spicy chilli crisp twist

  • Clear Conscience, a clarified drink

  • Shiso Nectar, with gin and ponzu

Trouble Trouble is perfect for a big group of friends who want good food, fun drinks, and a lively atmosphere.
