The Basílica de la Sagrada Família in Barcelona has been named the top attraction in the world by Tripadvisor’s 2025 Travelers’ Choice Awards. This famous church, designed by legendary architect Antoni Gaudí, has been under construction since 1882 – for over 140 years!
Even though it’s still not finished, the church draws millions of visitors each year. Its stunning spires, detailed stone carvings, and colorful stained glass make it truly one-of-a-kind. Inside, the high ceilings feel like a peaceful forest, with sunlight shining through in beautiful shades of blue, green, orange, and red.
Sagrada Família is expected to be completed in 2026, 100 years after Gaudí’s death. So, this year is the last chance to see it before the main structure is finished!
