White Sands National Park in southern New Mexico is one of the most unique and beautiful places in the US. It looks like a giant sea of white snow, but it’s actually made of soft gypsum sand that crunches under your feet. It covers 275 square miles and is the largest gypsum sand dunefield in the world.
The park is known for its glowing sand dunes that turn pink and blue during sunrise and sunset. It’s a favorite spot for hikers, photographers, and people who want peace and quiet.
