Saudi Arabia is opening its first five-star resorts on Shura Island this month, turning a quiet coastline into a luxury hotspot. The island will host villas, restaurants, an 18-hole golf course, and 11 ultra-luxury hotels including SLS, Edition, InterContinental, and Shura Links. Shura Island is part of the Red Sea Project, a mega tourism development under Vision 2030, aimed at making Saudi Arabia a top travel destination.
The island is connected to the mainland by a 1.2 km bridge and is accessible via Red Sea International Airport. Guests can enjoy spa treatments, fine dining, wellness centres, a yacht marina, and plenty of entertainment options. Shura Links golf course is open to all visitors and offers stunning Red Sea views. Future resorts like Faena, Four Seasons, Grand Hyatt, and Rosewood will join the island soon, making it a complete luxury experience.
