Virgin Voyages has added a new ship to its fleet — the Brilliant Lady. The 1,408-cabin ship was recently previewed during a special “friends and family” sailing, where the party didn’t stop from day to night. From music-filled decks to endless cocktails, the ship gave guests a lively first impression.
Virgin Voyages, known for its no-kids policy, great food, and fun vibes, is not just another cruise line. CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu explained that it offers something unique for adults who want a kid-free vacation at a good price.
The Brilliant Lady carries the same bold energy as Virgin’s earlier ships but also brings new features. Guests will find plenty of music venues, stylish bars, fitness options, and restaurants, including a new Spanish-themed spot called Rojo. Richard Branson himself praised the ship’s open-air fitness decks, no-buffet dining style, and its upcoming trips to Alaska in 2026 — a first for Virgin Voyages.
Entertainment is everywhere, from live music to curated playlists in rooms, while the crew’s friendly and authentic spirit makes the experience feel warm and welcoming. Branson summed it up best: “When you walk on the ship, you’re leaving the world as it is — joining the world as it should be.”
