Travelers in NYC can now save time at airports with new TSA PreCheck pop-up enrollment events. TSA PreCheck lets travelers use faster security lines and skip removing shoes or laptops. With over 20 million members, it’s a popular program that lasts five years and starts at $85.
This spring, Telos Corporation will run two pop-ups:
- MetLife Building Lobby (200 Park Ave.)
- Rockefeller Center Concourse (30 Rockefeller Plaza)
Dates: March 25-29, 2025
Hours vary by day (7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.).
At the pop-ups, travelers will need an appointment. The process includes taking a photo, fingerprints, and paying the fee. Most people will get approved in 3-5 days.
For those outside NYC, TSA PreCheck is available at many enrollment centers across the U.S., including inside Staples, Office Depot, or major airports like LAX and JFK.
Some credit cards and loyalty programs (like Chase, AmEx, Marriott Bonvoy, and United MileagePlus) even cover the cost.
