Florida is home to many stunning beaches, but one spot on its eastern coast has just been named the best of all — Ocean Reef Park in Riviera Beach.

According to a study by Beach.com, Ocean Reef Park topped over 1,300 beaches across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina to become the No. 1 beach in the U.S. Southeast. The 13-acre public park was praised for its crystal-clear blue water, cleanliness, and excellent visitor facilities.

Researchers used satellite data, AI analysis of over 220,000 online reviews, and detailed calculations to rate beaches on water color, clarity, environment, accessibility, and visitor feedback. Florida dominated the list, taking all 12 top spots — with six of them in Palm Beach County.

Located on Singer Island, Ocean Reef Park scored high in water quality and natural beauty. More than 2,500 Google reviews highlight its amazing coral reefs and marine life, including sea turtles, squids, and nurse sharks, making it a paradise for snorkelers.

Visitors also love its clean bathrooms, picnic pavilions, free parking, and shady trees — all of which make it a perfect family getaway. Just a mile away, Riviera Beach came in second, known for its pristine waters and great facilities.

When it comes to the clearest and bluest water, Delray Public Beach, located south of Riviera City, took that title. Researchers found its water color nearly perfect after analyzing five years of satellite data.

Meanwhile, beaches outside Florida also stood out — Bonnett Street Public Beach Access in North Carolina ranked highest for accessibility, and Great Dunes Pavilion on Jekyll Island, Georgia, was praised for its top-quality facilities.
