Gymkhana, the famous two-Michelin-star Indian restaurant from London, has opened its first U.S. location at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
It is also the first-ever Indian fine-dining restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip.

Gymkhana first opened in 2013 in London’s upscale Mayfair area. The restaurant became famous for bold Indian flavors served in a cozy space styled like old Indian members’ clubs. Now, Americans can enjoy that experience without traveling to London.

Pavan Pardasani, the CEO of JKS Restaurants, said their goal is to bring great Indian food across the U.S., and Las Vegas is the perfect place to start.

The idea started years ago when an MGM Resorts executive tried the London restaurant and believed it would be a great fit for the Strip. Bringing it to life took time, but the team stayed committed.

Bigger Space, Same Feel

The original London restaurant seats 90 people. The Las Vegas version is much bigger, with 175 seats, several bars, and different dining areas.
Even though it’s larger, the team worked hard to keep the same warm, elegant feel.

The interiors are designed to look like a luxurious Indian home. Guests walk through Gymkhana’s classic green doors into a stylish bar with chandeliers. The dining rooms use rich colors like red and green, patterned carpets, and Indian-inspired details.

There are two special areas:

  • The 42 Bar – with pink marble and soft lighting

  • The Vault – a cozy, private space with dark wood and red seats

The Food: London Classics + Vegas Specials

The kitchen is led by JKS co-founder Karam Sethi and chef Srikant Kumar.
The menu keeps many favorites from London such as:

  • Tamarind & Yogurt Chaat

  • Tandoori Masala Lamb Chops

  • Wild Tiger Prawns

For Las Vegas, they added new dishes, including beef for the first time:

  • Wagyu Keema Naan

  • Beef Shortrib Pepper Fry with coconut and South Indian spices

The food mixes street-style flavors with fine dining, and many dishes give a nostalgic “home-cooked” feeling.

Drinks With a Vegas Twist

The bar includes Gymkhana’s popular London cocktails and introduces new Vegas-only features like a Punch Trolley—a cart serving big cocktails for groups.
Nonalcoholic drinks include Indian classics like:

  • Alphonso Mango Lassi

  • Salted Lemon Nimbu Pani

A Big Moment for Indian Cuisine

Gymkhana is the first Indian restaurant inside a major casino on the Strip.
The team says this is an exciting time because Indian food is becoming more popular in America.
They hope to show people the richness, flavor, and elegance of Indian cuisine.

Insider Tip for First-Time Visitors

Pardasani suggests sitting at the 42 Bar instead of a table.
He says the bar has the best energy and lets you experience the restaurant in a fun, lively way.
