Starting October 26, 2025, American Airlines will offer new flights from Chicago O’Hare (ORD) to Honolulu (HNL) on a Boeing 787-8. These flights will have more premium seating options, giving passengers a comfortable travel experience. This new route is part of American’s plan to expand at O’Hare, adding nine new destinations and increasing premium seats by over 40% compared to last summer.
More New Destinations
American Airlines is also adding non-stop flights to international locations like Naples, Italy (starting May 6), Madrid, Spain (starting March 30), and Halifax, Canada (starting June 21).
For adventure seekers, new flights are launching to:
- Spokane, Washington (GEG)
- Bismarck, North Dakota (BIS)
- Boise, Idaho (BOI)
- Colorado Springs (COS) — starting June 5
- Hyannis, Massachusetts (HYA) — starting June 21, with direct flights to Cape Cod
They are also increasing flights to Florida, offering more options for travelers looking to escape to warmer destinations.
