South Africa is making it easier for Indian tourists to visit! The country’s Department of Home Affairs has launched the Trusted Tour Operator Scheme (TTOS) from February 12, 2025. This new system allows registered tour operators to directly apply for group visas, skipping the long individual process.

What’s New?

  • No need to visit an embassy or stand in long queues.
  • Visas will be processed digitally in just 3 days.
  • A total of 65 approved tour operators from South Africa, India, and China can help tourists with visa applications.

Why This Change?

Currently, Indian tourists make up only 3.9% of South Africa’s international visitors. The new system is expected to boost tourism and create jobs by solving problems like visa delays and language barriers.

Now, exploring South Africa is faster and easier for Indian travelers!
