This fall, Virginia’s Keswick is calling design lovers for a unique getaway. The 2025 Southern Living Idea House, a 4,500 sq. ft., four-bedroom home, combines classic charm with modern style. Created by Rosney Co. Architects and designed inside by Charlotte Moss, it sits in the beautiful Keswick Estate, just outside Charlottesville.

The house is close to Keswick Hall, a historic hotel turned design haven, and surrounded by scenic vineyards, art, and history. Visitors can enjoy more than just the house—vineyards, museums, shopping, and historic sites like Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello are nearby.

Charlotte Moss says Virginia has always been house-proud, with a rich design and architecture legacy. The Idea House also features grand porches, an octagonal entryway, and native landscaping that reflects the region’s style. Visitors from across the country come to see it, making it a perfect spot for a girlfriend getaway or mother-daughter trip.

Experience Virginia this fall, where design, history, and autumn vibes come together beautifully.
