This weekend, from 19 to 21 September, eight popular Bandra restaurants are taking over Elephant & Co. in Anjuna, Goa. Mumbai diners will feel right at home as these restaurants bring their famous dishes and drinks to the Goa crowd.

Elephant & Co., which started in Pune and opened in Goa in 2022, is known for its outdoor tables and relaxed vibe. Karan Khilnani, a Bandra native and partner at Elephant & Co., chose Bandra for the pop-up because of its diverse and laid-back food scene.

The pop-up lineup is packed with favourites:

  • Khao Man Gai – Hainanese chicken rice

  • The Daily All Day – Euro-Mediterranean dishes and cocktails

  • Darry’s House – Café, co-working space, and burgers

  • Boojee Café & Sixteen33 – Drinks and bar pop-ups

  • Jai Jawan & Pack-a-Pav – North Indian classics and sandwiches

  • Benne – Popular dosa diner

Each restaurant will bring 8–10 signature dishes or drinks. Some days feature new names, giving visitors reasons to return throughout the weekend.

The pop-up mixes old and new Bandra vibes: traditional spots like Jai Jawan and newer favourites like Darry’s House, Benne, and Sixteen33. Special drinks include Elephant & Co.’s Kantwadi, a cocktail with mezcal and raw mango soda.

The event celebrates Bandra’s community spirit. “We support each other rather than compete,” says Shahrom Oshtori of Sixteen33. Akhil Iyer of Benne adds, “Bandra welcomed us when we started. I’m excited to bring that spirit to Goa.”

The pop-up is perfect for Mumbaikars in Goa, out-of-town visitors, and locals curious to try Mumbai favourites without the queues. For three days, Anjuna is a little slice of Bandra.
