Indian Accent in Delhi now has a new small and stylish jazz bar called Upstairs, just one floor above the main restaurant. The bar has 36 seats and is currently open to everyone, but may become members-only in the future.
The candle-lit space is cozy and stylish, with beautiful decor, black-and-white city photos, and jazz music by Alyse Pascoe. The bartenders serve martinis and creative cocktails tableside, using Indian-inspired ingredients.
Some unique cocktails include:
-
Desi Dirty Martini – with gin, lemon vermouth, and olive stuffed with potato and cheese.
-
French Martini – with kokum, pineapple, gooseberry foam.
-
Espresso Martini – with coffee-infused vermouth, white butter rum, coconut spray, and vanilla coffee sphere.
-
Neer Highball – inspired by spiced buttermilk, with tequila and spices.
-
Paan Negroni – with betel leaf-infused gin and rose-gulkand vermouth.
The bar also offers small plates and snacks inspired by Delhi markets, like flower chaat, panko-crusted stuffed mirchi, and Indian Accent kulchas with various fillings. Desserts include kulfi falooda, Japanese shaved ice, truffle-infused kheer, and liqueur ice creams.
