Every December, Greenville, South Carolina becomes a real-life holiday movie. Main Street shines with thousands of lights, Santa rides through town in a motorized sleigh, and families glide across an ice rink inspired by New York’s Rockefeller Center.

Main Street is full of Christmas magic—garland-covered shops, glowing trees, and excited crowds cheering as Santa’s famous sleigh goes by. Two big traditions make the season even more special:

  • The Greenville Gingerbread Exhibit, where bakers create stunning gingerbread masterpieces.

  • Window Wonderland, where shops decorate their windows like a festive outdoor gallery.

For holiday shopping, the Greenville Christmas Market at the Grand Bohemian Lodge is a must. From November 28 to December 28, over 30 local vendors sell handmade ornaments, gifts, treats, and more.

Greenville’s restaurants and bars also join the celebration.

  • Up on the Roof becomes Elfed Up, a holiday pop-up with seasonal cocktails.

  • Southernside Brewing Co. brings back its popular Miracle Bar.

  • At Juniper, guests can enjoy drinks inside cozy heated rooftop igloos.

The Table 301 Restaurant Group decorates all six of its restaurants with classic Christmas movie themes:

  • CAMP serves “The Griswold” cocktail from Christmas Vacation.

  • The Jones Oyster Co. offers a Rudolph-inspired oyster dip.

  • The Lazy Goat celebrates The Grinch with fun themed dishes.

For an unforgettable stay, the Westin Poinsett offers a Home Alone Experience—a suite, a giant ice cream sundae, a limo ride with pizza, and a shopping trip to toy store O.P. Taylor’s.
