Thanks to a massive $200 million riverfront transformation, the city has become one of the best winter destinations in the U.S. And the biggest attraction is something truly unique: The Ribbon, a beautiful 1,000-foot-long ice skating trail that curves along the Maumee River.
This scenic trail connects to a 5,000-square-foot skating pond, giving visitors a mix of fun, space, and magical winter vibes. What makes it even better are the heated cabanas, each with fire pits, cozy seating, and delicious treats like hot cocoa and pizza.
The Ribbon is open daily from mid-November to mid-March, making it perfect for holiday trips, weekend getaways, and winter vacations.
