Bengaluru just got a new pizza spot that’s as bold as it is cheesy! SOPI by Subko, short for Subcontinent Origin Pizza Initiative, brings a fun twist to artisanal sourdough pizzas. After a hit debut in Mumbai, the brand has opened its doors in Koramangala’s The Craftery. Think neon lights, Bollywood remixes, and pizzas packed with Indian flavors — a perfect mix of cool and quirky.

Created by chef Daniel Trulson and Rahul Reddy, SOPI gives a “pizza speakeasy” experience — dark, colorful interiors, glowing neon signs, and a vibe that feels like a party. Every corner tells a story, from the “Wanted in BLR” posters to the community board filled with fun fan notes.

The star, of course, is the pizza — made with Subko’s signature sourdough base. Expect bold flavors like When Honey Met Thecha (hot honey meets spicy thecha), The Sushegad Slice (Goan chorizo), and Miso Happy (miso-glazed pumpkin). There’s even a Manipuri-inspired slice using a rare pepper called Ngairong maru. Every pizza feels like a new adventure.

Besides pizzas, there are fun sides and salads — like Make Kachumber Great Again and Real Cobbs Wear Pink. For dessert, you’ll find Olive You Mousse and Not Your Nonna’s Tiramisu. Drinks are non-alcoholic but refreshing, including Kokumgranate Spritz and Matcha-ade.

SOPI is more than just food — it’s a full-on experience with only 35 seats, so you’ll need a reservation. With its mix of local ingredients, creative names, and groovy atmosphere, this new pizzeria is definitely the talk of the town.
