Tiny houses are more than just small homes—they symbolize freedom, creativity, and a life with less “stuff.” For Hannah and Greg Wilnau from Florida, building a tiny house on wheels opened the door to endless adventures across the U.S.
In 2018, the couple sold their house, most of their belongings, and began traveling the world with only two backpacks. They explored countries like Ireland, Spain, Italy, and Japan, realizing along the way that they didn’t need much to live happily.
But soon, they wanted to see their own country. That’s when the idea of building a tiny house on wheels came to life. While living in Vietnam, Greg suggested they design their own mobile home. Since they were also expecting a child, it felt like the perfect mix of freedom and stability.
Greg, with the help of his father, built their 240-square-foot modern home. It’s 20 feet long, with tall ceilings, large windows, and smart storage solutions. Inside, there’s a kitchen with a full stove, a roomy shower, and even a drop-down desk for work.
The family has now traveled 7,000 miles across the U.S. in their tiny house, enjoying the comfort of home wherever they go. For them, it’s not just about travel—it’s about creating a life filled with freedom, family, and adventure.
