If you’re planning a trip to Bali or other parts of Indonesia, there are some new rules you should know.

From September 1, all passengers arriving at major airports like Soekarno-Hatta, Juanda, Bali’s Ngurah Rai, and Batam Port must download the All Indonesia app. This app makes it easier to complete immigration, customs, health, and quarantine forms in one place.

The free app can be used up to three days before arrival and is available on both the Play Store and App Store. Authorities say the app will make the process quicker and easier for everyone, including kids, elderly, and people with disabilities.

Besides the app, Bali also has a mandatory tourist levy. Every international visitor must pay 150,000 IDR ($10) before or during their stay. The money helps preserve Bali’s culture, environment, and heritage. Payments can be made online, at the airport, or through hotels and tour operators.

Officials also remind visitors to respect Balinese customs, dress modestly, and use licensed guides while visiting temples and cultural sites. The goal is to protect both Bali’s traditions and its natural beauty.

So before flying, make sure you download the app and pay the levy to enjoy a smooth entry into this beautiful island.
