Because of light pollution, it’s getting harder to see clear, starry skies. But Utah is working to protect its night skies and has become the best place in the world for stargazing.
The state has 31 places certified by the International Dark-Sky Association, which means these areas have little to no light pollution and are perfect for seeing stars.
👉 Best time to stargaze: During the new moon or just before/after moonrise and moonset. That’s when the sky is darkest!
