A new report by Seniorly says South Dakota is the best state for single seniors looking for love. With nearly 26 million single seniors in the U.S., many are hoping to find romance, and the right location could make a big difference.

82% of seniors are in good health
Low risk of romance scams
Balanced ratio: 111 women for every 100 men

Minnesota was a close second. It has high life expectancy and good health stats, but it’s expensive for dating — around $156 per date.
Wyoming took third place due to high social engagement.
Colorado and New Hampshire followed in fourth and fifth spots.
