MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is undergoing a major $300 million renovation to update its 4,212 rooms and suites. This year-long project, inspired by the disco era, will give the hotel a fresh, playful, and elegant look. The first newly renovated rooms will be ready for booking on March 1, and the entire renovation will be finished by December 2025.

The hotel rooms will feature modern amenities like spa-like bathrooms, stainless finishes, cascading chandeliers in suites, and contemporary wall mirrors. The rooms will also have walk-in showers, blackout curtains, charging stations, and wall-mounted Smart TVs. For a calming effect, rooms like the City View Penthouse Suite will have calming gray tones and stone finishes.

In addition to renovating the rooms, MGM Grand will add 111 new suites ranging from 675 to 2,572 square feet, with large bathrooms and stylish living spaces. The hotel is also planning to add new restaurants and transform its dayclub Wet Republic into the Palm Tree Beach Club, a tropical oasis that can hold 3,000 party-goers.

This renovation comes as other resorts in Las Vegas are also updating their facilities. MGM Grand’s makeover will bring a refreshed and luxurious experience to guests, making it a standout in the city’s evolving hotel scene.
