The hunt for India’s best restaurants has officially begun! The sixth edition of the Top Restaurant Awards, in partnership with District by Zomato, is here—and nominations are open.
Each year, 100 of India’s most respected food critics, chefs, and tastemakers come together to vote through a strict two-phase process. The result? A trusted list of India’s top 50 restaurants.
Why This Award Matters
These awards recognize the hard work of chefs and restaurant teams who create amazing food and unforgettable experiences. Many past winners have said that making it to the Top 50 list changed everything—from more customers to national fame.
Big cities or small towns, it doesn’t matter. If your restaurant is passionate about food and rooted in creativity, this is your chance to shine.
How to Nominate
If you run a premium restaurant with great food, good service, and a thoughtful vibe, you’re eligible. Restaurants must have opened before January 1, 2025 to be considered.
Nominations are open till July 5, 2025 (11:59 PM IST). There are no nomination fees or hidden charges. The process is completely independent, and no one can pay their way into the list or event.
What Happens Next
Only the top 50 restaurants will be selected and celebrated at a grand event in Mumbai later this year. While shortlisted restaurants won’t be individually notified, the final list will be shared online and on social media.
