A bold new bar has opened in Delhi’s Lodhi Colony — The Love Hotel — and it’s bringing a whole new vibe to the city. Inspired by Japan’s famous “love hotels,” this spot is all about intimate, moody, and playful experiences. And yes, it’s for adults only!

What’s the Buzz?

AD Singh of Olive Group, along with Saumya Gupta and Shiva Kant Vyas from The Open Art Project, have created a tiny, sexy cocktail room inside the well-known Japanese restaurant Guppy. It’s cozy — just 20 seats — with deep red walls, soft lighting, and cheeky coasters with fun games. There’s no bar counter between you and the bartender — it’s all open and personal.

The Food

Chef Saurabh Sharan has crafted a 12-dish menu that’s perfect for sharing. Highlights include:

  • Crunchy Summer Wraps (chicken or veg)

  • Melt-in-your-mouth Pork Ribs

  • Brie & Bhavnagri Chilli Tempura

  • Tuna-Watermelon Salad

  • Edamame & Avocado Shooters

Each dish is designed to pair well with cocktails and keep the vibe light and fun.

The Drinks

The cocktail menu is wild, unique, and affordable! Each drink has a twist — think matcha, soy sauce, yogurt, and even handcuffs! Some fun picks:

  • Late Checkout: Whiskey, coconut, matcha-white chocolate

  • Come, Play: Lemongrass vodka, Earl Grey, passionfruit pearls

  • It’s Not Bedtime: A fun take on espresso martini

  • Cuffing: Comes with yogurt and pink handcuffs!

Drinks are priced at ₹750, mocktails at ₹400, and classics at ₹800 — way cheaper than most fancy places in town.
